ရံုးတြင္းအဂၤလိပ္စကား
႐ံုးေတြမွာအလုပ္လုပ္ၾကတဲ့အခါအခ်င္းခ်င္းေျပာဆိုဆက္ဆံရတာေတြအမ်ားႀကီးရွိပါတယ္။ ဘယ္ပစၥည္းဘယ္မွာရွိတာ၊ အသံုးအေဆာင္ပစၥည္းေလးေတြငွားတာကအစ ပရင္တာအလုပ္မလုပ္တာမ်ိဳး၊ ကိုယ္မွာထားတဲ့ပစၥည္းဒီေန႔ဘာေၾကာင့္မေရာက္တာလဲစိတ္ပူတာမ်ိဳးေတြကအစ ေျပာစရာေတြတပံုႀကီးပါ။ ဒီေတာ့ အဂၤလိပ္စကားကို႐ံုးတြင္းေျပာဆိုရမယ့္အေျခအေနအတြင္းမွာအေျခခံထားတဲ့ သင္ခန္းစာတစ္ခ်ိဳ႕တင္ျပသြားပါမယ္။
စက္ပစၥည္းျပႆနာမ်ား Machine Problems
ေခတ္သစ္ရံုးခန္းေတြဟာ ရံုးသုံးစက္ပစၥည္းေတြ office automation ေတြနဲ႔တန္ဆာဆင္ထားၾကပါတယ္။ စက္ပစၥည္းျဖစ္ေလေတာ့ အခ်ိန္တန္တဲ့အခါ၊ လူမ်ားလက္မ်ားတဲ့အခါ၊ မွားယြင္းအသံုးျပဳမိတဲ့အခါ ပ်က္တတ္ပါတယ္။ “ပရင္တာပ်က္တယ္။ စာရြက္ညပ္တယ္။ ျပင္ရမယ္။ စာရြက္ကုန္သြားၿပီ။ ထပ္မွာရမယ္” စတာေတြကို ေအာက္ပါအတိုင္းေျပာႏိုင္တယ္။
"Do you know what's wrong with the printer?"
ပရင္တာဘာျဖစ္လဲသိလားဟင္။
"Who do we call to report a problem with the printer?"
ပရင္တာျဖစ္တာ ဘယ္သူ႔ကိုေခၚရမွာလဲ။
"When is the printer going to be fixed?"
ပရင္တာဘယ္ေတာ့ျပင္ၿပီးမွာလဲ။
"The printer next to the break room is broken. Where is the other printer?"
နားေနခန္းေဘးကပရင္တာပ်က္ေနတယ္။ တျခားပရင္တာဘယ္မွာလဲ။
"The copy machine is jammed again."
မိတၱဴကူးစက္ စာရြက္ညပ္ျပန္ၿပီ။
"The copy machine is broken."
မိတၱဴကူးစက္ပ်က္ေနတယ္။
"We need to get the copy machine fixed."
မိတၱဴကူးစက္ကိုျပင္ခိုင္းရမယ္။
"A technician is coming this afternoon to fix the copy machine."
ဒီေန႔လယ္ မိတၱဴကူးစက္ျပင္ဖို႔ စက္ျပင္ဆရာလာလိမ့္မယ္။
"Where is the paper for the copy machine?"
မိတၱဴကူးစက္နဲ႔သံုးတဲ့စာရြက္ဘယ္မွာလဲ။
"We need to order more paper. We're running low."
စာရြက္ပိုမွာရမယ္။ ကုန္ေတာ့မယ္။
စာပို႔ခန္း Mail Room
ကုမၸဏီႀကီးမ်ားမွာေတာ့ mail room ဆိုတာရွိပါတယ္။ ၀န္ထမ္းတစ္ေယာက္ခ်င္းအတြက္ ကိုယ္ပိုင္ mail box ကေလးေတြထားေပးထားတယ္။ အသံုး၀င္မယ့္စာေၾကာင္းတစ္ခ်ိဳ႕ပါ။ mail အစားယခုေခတ္ email အတြက္လည္းအသံုး၀င္ပါတယ္။
"Where is the mail room?"
စာပို႔ခန္း ဘယ္မွာလဲ။
"I don't have a mail box. Who should I contact to get one?"
ကၽြန္ေတာ့္မွာ စာတိုက္ပံုးမရွိေသးဘူး။ ဘယ္သူနဲ႔ဆက္သြယ္ၿပီးရေအာင္လုပ္ရမလဲ။
"Your mail box was pretty full. You should go pick them up."
ခင္ဗ်ားစာတိုက္ပံုးျပည့္ေနၿပီ။ သြားယူလိုက္ဦး။
"I haven't checked my mail in 2 weeks."
စာေတြမစစ္တာ ႏွစ္ပတ္ရွိၿပီ။
"What time does the delivery person usually come?"
စာပို႔သမားဘယ္အခ်ိန္လာေလ့ရွိလဲ။
ကုမၸဏီႀကီးၿပီဆိုလွ်င္ အေဆာက္အဦးကလည္းႀကီး အခန္းေတြကလည္းမ်ားနဲ႔ ႐ံုးတြင္းမွာတင္ စာပို႔ စာယူလုပ္ရတာသဘာ၀ပါ။ ဥပမာ စာရင္းစစ္ဌာနကို စာရင္းဇယားေတြပို႔ခ်င္တယ္ဆိုရင္ Inter Office mail service ႐ံုးတြင္းစာပို႔စံနစ္ (IO) ကိုသံုးရပါတယ္။
အသံုးအေဆာင္ပစၥည္းမ်ားေတာင္းခံျခင္း Requesting Equipment
လုပ္ငန္းႀကီးလွ်င္ႀကီးသလို လုပ္ငန္း၏အသံုးအေဆာင္၊ ကိရိယာတန္ဆာပလာ ေတြမ်ားလာသည့္အခါ store, warehouse လိုသီးသန္႔ဌာနတစ္ခုကေန ထုတ္ယူသံုးစြဲရပါတယ္။ အဲဒီအခါမွာေအာက္ပါစကားတို႔ကို ေျပာဖို႔လိုအပ္လာပါမယ္။
"I'm out of staples. Do we have any more in the supply room?"
စာအုပ္ခ်ဳပ္အပ္ ကုန္ေနၿပီ။ စတိုခန္းထဲမွာ ရွိေသးလား။
"The supply room is running low on pens. I think we should get more."
စတိုခန္းမွာ ေဘာပင္ကုန္ကာနီးေနၿပီ။ ထပ္မွာရမယ္ထင္တယ္။
"My monitor is very old. It's a little blurry and it gives me a headache when I look at it for a long duration. Could I get a new monitor?"
ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ေမာ္နီတာကအရမ္းေဟာင္းေနၿပီ။ နည္းနည္းမႈန္၀ါး၀ါးျဖစ္ေနေတာ့ ၾကာၾကာၾကည့္လိုက္ရင္ ေခါင္းမူးလာတယ္။ ေမာ္နီတာအသစ္ရႏိုင္မလား။
"My computer is too slow. It slows down my work. I would like a faster computer. It will increase my efficiency on many of my tasks."
ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကြန္ပ်ဴတာကအရမ္းေလးေနတယ္။ အလုပ္ဖင့္တယ္။ ကြန္ပ်ဴတာအသစ္တစ္လံုး ေလာက္လိုခ်င္တယ္။ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ရဲ႕လုပ္ငန္းေဆာင္တာေတြမွာပိုတြင္က်ယ္လာပါလိမ့္မယ္။
"I would like an ergonomic keyboard. I can type much faster with those."
ergonomic keyboard တစ္ခုေလာက္လိုခ်င္တယ္။ အဲဒါနဲ႔ဆိုပိုျမန္ျမန္႐ုိက္ႏိုင္မယ္။
*** ergonomic (adj) လုပ္ငန္းခြင္ႏွင့္လုပ္အားစြမ္းရည္ျမွင့္တင္ေရး။ (၄င္းစံအရထုတ္လုပ္ထားေသာအသံုးအေဆာင္ပစၥည္း)
"Can I get a new chair? This one is so uncomfortable."
ကုလားထိုင္အသစ္တစ္လံုးေလာက္ရႏိုင္မလား။ ဒီတစ္လံုးကထိုင္ရတာအဆင္မေျပဘူး။
"Can you get me a headset for the telephone? I'm on the phone most of the day and I would like to free up my hands."
တယ္လီဖုန္းအတြက္နားၾကပ္တစ္ခုေလာက္ေပးႏိုင္မလား။ တစ္ေနကုန္ဖုန္းေျပာေနရေတာ့ လက္နဲ႔မကိုင္ဘဲထားခ်င္တယ္။ (လက္နဲ႔အလုပ္လုပ္ႏိုင္ေအာင္)
