ႏိုင္ငံျခားသားမ်ားႏွင့္ျဖစ္ေစ၊ မိမိမသိသူမ်က္ႏွာစိမ္းမ်ားႏွင့္ ျဖစ္ေစ ေတြ႕ဆံုေျပာရမည့္အေျခအေန ေတြအမ်ားႀကီးရွိပါသည္။ ဘတ္စ္ကားေစာင့္ေနစဥ္၊ တန္းစီေနစဥ္ လူစိမ္းတို႔ႏွင့္စကားေျပာျဖစ္တတ္ၾကသည္။ ကူးတို႔ယာဥ္ေပၚ၊ ပန္းၿခံတစ္ခုအတြင္းခံုေပၚထိုင္ေနစဥ္လည္း တစ္ေယာက္ႏွင့္တစ္ေယာက္ အလာပသလာပ စကားစမည္ေျပာတတ္ၾကသည္။ မိမိႏွင့္မသိကၽြမ္းသူမ်ားႏွင့္ စကားေျပာရမည့္အေျခအေနသည္ အခ်ိန္မေရြး ဘယ္သူမဆိုႀကံဳႀကိဳက္ရမည္မလြဲပါ။ ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ထိုအေျခအေနမ်ိဳးတြင္ ေျပာႏိုင္ေစ ရန္ ေလ့က်င့္ထား၊ ေလ့လာထားရမည္ျဖစ္သည္။ အဓိကသည္ small talk ဟုေခၚသည့္ ေထြရာေလးပါး စကားေျပာပင္ျဖစ္သည္။ ခရီးသြားဧည့္သည္တစ္ေယာက္ကိုသာဆိုပါက ပထမဦးဆံုးေမးရမည္မွာ ဘယ္ကလာသလဲ ဟူသည့္ေမးခြန္းပါ။ ဒီလိုႏွင့္ မိတ္ေဆြျဖစ္သြားႏိုင္သည္။


"Are you visiting from somewhere?"
တစ္ေနရာရာကလာလည္တာလား။

"Yes. I'm visiting from Korea."
ဟုတ္တယ္။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ကိုရီးယားကလာလည္တာ။

"Are you on vacation here?"
ဒီမွာအားလပ္ရက္ခရီးနဲ႔လား။

"Yes. I'm taking a vacation from Korea."
ဟုတ္တယ္။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ကိုရီးယားက အားလပ္ရက္ခရီးထြက္လာတာ။

ကိုယ္လည္း tourist, သူလည္း tourist ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ဒီလိုမ်ိဳးေတြေမးႏိုင္သည္။

"How are you enjoying your vacation?"
ဘယ္လိုလဲဗ်။ သေဘာက်ရဲ႕လား။

"I'm having a great time. How about you?"
အရမ္းေပ်ာ္ပါတယ္။ ခင္ဗ်ားေကာ။

"It's pretty fun here. Are you having a good time?"
ဒီမွာ ေပ်ာ္စရာေတာ္ေတာ္ေကာင္းပါတယ္။ ခင္ဗ်ားေကာ။

"This is a great place. I'm having a lot of fun. Are you having fun?"
ဒီေနရာက အရမ္းေကာင္းတယ္။ အရမ္းေပ်ာ္တယ္။

"Are you here with your family?"
ဒီကိုမိသားစုနဲ႔လာတာလား။

"I'm here with my wife and 2 kids. They are so excited to be here."
ကၽြန္ေတာ့ ဇနီးနဲ႔ကေလးႏွစ္ေယာက္နဲ႔။ သူတို႔လည္း ဒီကိုလာရတာ အရမ္းစိတ္လႈပ္ရွားေနၾကတယ္။

"My kids love this place. This is our third time here. Have you been here before?"
ကေလးေတြဒီေနရာကို ႏွစ္ၿခိဳက္ၾကတယ္။ အခုဆိုသံုးႀကိမ္ေျမာက္ေရာက္တာ။ ခင္ဗ်ားေကာ အရင္ကေရာက္ဖူးလား။

"This is my first time here. I always wanted to come and I'm having a great time."
ဒါကၽြန္ေတာ့္ ပထမဆံုးအႀကိမ္ပဲ။ အၿမဲတမ္းလာခ်င္ေနခဲ့တာ။ စိတ္ေက်နပ္စရာပါပဲ။

တစ္္ေယာက္ေယာက္နဲ႔စကားစေျပာဖို႔အေကာင္းဆံုးအခ်ိန္သည္ မိမိေဘးမွလူ ဘာမွလုပ္မေနသည့္အခ်ိန္ျဖစ္သည္။ လမ္းေလွ်ာက္သြားသူကို လိုက္စကားေျပာဖို႔အဆင္မေျပလွ။ အေႏွာင့္အယွက္ေပးသလိုျဖစ္မည္။ ပန္းၿခံလိုမ်ိဳး၊ ပင္လယ္ကမ္းေျခလိုေနရာမ်ိဳးမွာေတာ့ မိမိေဘးမွလူ ႏွင့္မိတ္ေဆြဖြဲ႕ဖို႔ စကားစေျပာဖို႔အဆင္ေျပသည္။ ပထမဦးဆံုး အဖြင့္စကားေလးႏွင့္ စၾကည့္မည္။ တစ္ဖက္က ျပန္လည္တံု႔ျပန္ပါက ဆက္ေျပာႏိုင္သည္။ စိတ္မ၀င္စားဟန္ျပပါက အသာေနရံုပင္ျဖစ္သည္။ ေလ့လာၾကည့္ပါ။

A: "It's a nice day."
သာယာတဲ့ေန႔ေလးတစ္ေန႔ပဲေနာ္။
B: "Yes. It is a beautiful day."
ဟုတ္တယ္ဗ်။ လွပတဲ့ေန႔တစ္ေန႔ပဲ။
A: "Do you live around here or are you visiting?"
ခင္ဗ်ားဒီနားမွာေနတာလား။ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ အလည္လာတာလား။

B: "I am on vacation from Korea."
ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ကိုရီးယားက အားလပ္ရက္ခရီးထြက္လာတာပါ။
A: "That's cool. Are you having a good time?"
တယ္ဟုတ္ပါလား။ ေပ်ာ္ရဲ႕လားဗ်။

B: "Yes. There are many things to see and I'm taking a lot of pictures. Do live in this city?"
အင္း။ ဒီမွာၾကည့္စရာရႈစရာေတြအမ်ားႀကီး။ ဓါတ္ပံုေတြလည္းအမ်ားႀကီးရိုက္ရတယ္။ ခင္ဗ်ားဒီၿမိဳ႕မွာေနတာလား။


A: "Yeah. I'm just here with my kids. They wanted to come to the park today."
အင္း ဒီမွာကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကေလးႏွစ္ေယာက္နဲ႔။ သူတို႔ပန္းၿခံလာခ်င္တယ္ဆိုလို႔ေလ။

B: "What's a good place to visit in this city?"
ဒီၿမိဳ႕မွာ လည္ဖို႔ေကာင္းတဲ့ေနရာဘာမ်ားရွိလဲ။

A: "Where have you been so far?"
ခင္ဗ်ား ဘယ္ေတြေရာက္ခဲ့ၿပီးၿပီလဲ။

B: "This was my first stop. I was going to look at my maps."
ဒီေနရာပဲေရာက္ေသးတာ။ ေျမပံုၾကည့္ေနတာေလ။

A: "I recommend going to the water front in downtown. They have a ferry you can ride, some good restaurants, and a good beach for a walk."
ၿမိဳ႕ထဲက ေရဆိပ္ဘက္သြားၾကည့္ဖို႔ညႊန္းခ်င္တယ္။ ကူးတို႔ယဥ္စီးလို႔ရတယ္။ စားေသာက္ဆိုင္ေကာင္းေကာင္းေတြနဲ႔ လမ္းေလွ်ာက္လို႔ေကာင္းတဲ့ကမ္းေျခရွိတယ္။

B: "How do I get there from here?"
အဲဒီကို ဘယ္လိုသြားရလဲခင္ဗ်။

A: "You see Jackson street over there? Go straight for 10 blocks. When you see 5th Avenue, turn left. Follow the street for about 3 miles and you should see it."
ဟိုမွာ ဂ်က္ဆန္လမ္းေတြ႕တယ္မဟုတ္လား။ အဲဒီအတိုင္းတည့္တည့္ ၁၀ ဘေလာက္ေလွ်ာက္သြားပါ။ အမွတ္ငါး ရိပ္သာလမ္း ကိုေတြ႕ရင္ ဘယ္ဘက္ခ်ိဳး။ လမ္းအတိုင္း ၃ မိုင္ေလာက္ေလွ်ာက္လိုက္ရင္ ေတြ႕လိမ့္မယ္။

B: "Thanks. I'll go check it out. It was nice talking to you."
ေက်းဇူးပဲဗ်ာ။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္သြားၾကည့္လိုက္မယ္။ ခင္ဗ်ားနဲ႔စကားေျပာရတာေကာင္းပါတယ္။

A: "It was nice meeting you. Have a good time."
ခင္ဗ်ားနဲ႔ေတြ႕ရတာ၀မ္းသာပါတယ္။ ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ပါေစ။

ကၽြန္ေတာ္ေရးထားသမွ်ကိုဖတ္ခ်င္လွ်င္ဒီမွာေလ့လာႏိုင္ပါသည္။
