ဒီသင္ခန္းစာကေတာ့ ဧည့္သည္မွ အခန္း၀န္ေဆာင္မႈအား တယ္လီဖုန္းျဖင့္မွာၾကားလာပါက ျပန္လည္ေျဖၾကားပံုပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ Unit 1, 3 နဲ႔ 4 ေတြနဲ ႔ျပန္ဆက္စပ္ေလ့လာၾကည့္ပါ။

Guest: Hello, could I have a bottle of champagne please?

Staff: Certainly, what room number please?

Guest: Room 352.

Staff: And how many glasses do you need?

Guest: We need four please.

Staff: Right away sir.

Guest: Yes, please. My husband’s suit needs dry cleaning and I have a dress that needs ironing. Shall I leave them at the reception?

Staff: No, you don’t need to do that. I’ll send someone up for them right away. What’s your room number?

Staff: Good morning, room service.

Guest: Good morning, could we have continental breakfast for two? With orange juice and coffee please.

Staff: Certainly, a continental for two. Which room number please?

Guest: 697. How long will it be? We need to leave in half an hour.

Staff: It’ll be with you in fifteen minutes.

Guest: Great, thank you very much.

Guest: Yes please. Can you put a new zip in a pair of trousers? I need them this afternoon.

Staff: We can do that for you by lunch time sir. Do they need pressing? I’ll send someone up to your room.

ဟိုတယ္အ၀င္နားကနားေနခန္းမႀကီးကို ဟိုတယ္ႀကီးတစ္ခ်ိဳ႕က foyer လို႔သံုးရတာႀကိဳက္ၾကပါတယ္။ ဒီစကားလံုးႏွစ္လံုးဟာလည္း အဓိပၸါယ္တူအလဲအလွယ္သံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ foyer ဆိုတာျပင္သစ္စကား မီးလင္းဖိုရွိရာအခန္းကလာတာျဖစ္ၿပီး lobby ကေတာ့ ဂ်ာမန္အရင္းအျမစ္ရွိတဲ့ လက္တင္စကားလံုး Lobia ခရစ္ယာန္ဘုန္းႀကီးေက်ာင္းသီလရွင္ေက်ာင္းရွိအမိုးပါစႀကၤန္ဆိုတဲ့စကားကလာပါတယ္။

မီးပူတိုက္တာကို ironing နဲ႔ pressing ဆိုၿပီးႏွစ္မ်ိဳးသံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ တစ္ခ်ိဳ႕က pressing ဟာပိုၿပီး professional ဆန္တယ္လို႔ယူဆၾကပါတယ္။ စီးပြားေရးအရအ၀တ္ေလွ်ာ္တဲ့လုပ္ငန္း laundry မွာ pressing လို႔သံုးၾကပါတယ္။ ကိုယ့္အိမ္မွာကိုယ့္ဘာသာတိုက္တာကိုေတာ့ ironing လို႔ဆိုႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ဒီစကားလံုးႏွစ္ခုလံုးကိုအဓိပၸါယ္တစ္မ်ိဳးတည္းနဲ႔အလဲအလွယ္သံုးတာမ်ိဳးေတြလည္းရွိပါ တယ္။

ဟိုတယ္ေတြမွာ ဥေရာပစတိင္မနက္စာနဲ႔ အေမရိကန္စတိုင္မနက္စာဆိုၿပီးေရာင္းခ်တာမ်ားပါတယ္။ ဥေရာပစတိုင္က ပိုၿပီေပါ့ေပါ့ပါးပါးစားစရာေတြျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ေယဘုယ်အားျဖင့္ ေပါင္မုန္႔အမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳး၊ သစ္သီးေဖ်ာ္ရည္တစ္မ်ိဳး၊ လက္ဖက္ရည္၊ ေကာ္ဖီ တစ္မ်ိဳးပါပါတယ္။ အေမရိကန္နံနက္စာကေတာ့ ဥေရာပနံနက္စာကအမယ္ေတြအျပင္ ၾကက္ဥနဲ႔အသား (bacon, ham, sausage, steak) တို႔လည္းပါပါတယ္။ ေျပာရရင္အေမရိကန္နံနက္စာဟာထမင္းႀကီးစားသလိုစားတာျဖစ္တယ္။
